| Jim married his high school sweetheart, Marilyn Gerlach. Their wedding occurred within three and one half hours of Jim’s graduation from the Naval Academy. Jim has four children- Jay, Jeffrey, Susan, and Barbara. Jim’s family lived their lives with Jim as he traveled farther than any other man, logging over 600 hours and flying over 7,000,000 miles through space. |
